How it works · For Helpers
From a nearby signal to a confirmed booking.
This is what working as a PoomAt Helper looks like, from your application to your payout. You stay independent at every step: you choose the requests, the price and the time.
The full journey
Six steps, and every decision is yours.
01
Apply once
Create an account, confirm your eligibility, verify your identity with Stripe and connect a payout account. Choose your services and areas, and add credentials only if a service needs them.
- You
- Choose your services and areas
- PoomAt
- Reviews your application privately
02
A request reaches you
When a client nearby describes a task that fits your services and area, it reaches you as a gold signal with the task, neighbourhood, timing and proposed budget.
- You
- See the request before anyone books
- PoomAt
- Keeps the client's exact address private
03
Reply green or red
Green if you can take it, red if not this time. A red reply costs you nothing, and the client never sees it.
- You
- Answer only what suits you
- PoomAt
- Shows the client only green replies
04
Send your offer
Set your own price and time. Your offer joins the client's list next to other offers, together with your profile and reviews.
- You
- Your price, your schedule
- PoomAt
- Lays offers side by side for the client
05
Get booked
If the client accepts your offer, the booking is confirmed. The exact address is shared, and you settle the details in chat.
- You
- Confirm the details in chat
- PoomAt
- Shares the address only after booking
06
Do the job, get paid
Once the job is completed, your payout goes to the Stripe account you connected, under PoomAt's payment terms. The client's review builds your profile.
- You
- Your reviews stay on your profile
- PoomAt
- Pays out through Stripe
Three colours
What each signal means for you
- Gold · New request
- A request nearby is looking for a Helper. Helpers closest to it receive it first; farther ones a moment later.
- Green · Available
- Your reply goes back to the client and becomes your offer.
- Red · Not this time
- The signal fades out quietly. There's no penalty, and the client never sees it.

Questions
Questions Helpers ask
Do I have to answer every request?
No. Answer only the requests that fit you. A red reply, or no reply, is never shown to the client.
When do I see the client's address?
After the client accepts your offer and the booking is confirmed. Before that you see the neighbourhood and a nearby street only.
How do payouts work?
Payouts go to the Stripe account you connect during onboarding, after the job is completed and according to PoomAt's payment terms. Timing can vary by request.
Can I offer services as a company?
Your first application is personal. After approval, a company admin can register a business from Profile > Business.
Ready when your neighbourhood is.
Apply once, then answer the requests that suit you.
