The name "PoomAt" is inspired by the Korean concept of "품앗이" (poom-ah-shi). We're on a mission to connect people who need help with skilled helpers in their community.

Poomasi: work exchanged through relationship.
In Korean communities, Poomasi described reciprocal labour: people contributed time and effort knowing that help could return through the community later. The relationship mattered as much as the task.
